Eldamar Norway
Eldamar is the solo project of Mathias Hemmingby from Norway. It was formed in the summer of
2015.
Conceptually, Eldamar is inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien, Heathenism, Elven Magic & Nature.
The goal of Eldamar's art is to help listeners to open up to the music in an emotional way, to combine the experience with their imagination and to drift away in their own dreams while listening to the songs.

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity. Russian Atmospheric Black Metal / Dark Ambient. This is the latest Elderwind & my first sadly because I am always later than late... But this also means I get to go through the entire discography... :) Such fantastic contrasts of desperation interspersed with sweet music passages. Highly addictive & highly recommended!!!
